Mar. 2001 Baba Yaga Subtitles Studio opened in Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Started offering mainly a Japanese subtitles service for classic films and dramas.
Jan. 2003 The studio relocated to Ningyocho 1-chome, Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku.
Oct. 2004 The studio relocated to Ningyocho 2-chome, Nihonbashi for the purpose of business expansion.
Dec. 2004 Started offering a multi-language subtitles service based on UNICODE.
Jan. 2005 Started offering a closed caption service.
May. 2005 Started producing Japanese versions of Chinese drama series.
May. 2006 Talkie Magic Inc. was founded. The operation of Baba Yaga Subtitles Studio was transferred to Talkie Magic Inc.
Jul. 2006 Started offering a DVD authoring service.
Jan. 2009 Started offering DVD manufacturing and packaging services.
Oct. 2010 Started offering a Blu-ray subtitles service.
Dec. 2011 Started offering a Blu-ray authoring service.
Jan. 2012 The company was relocated to Higashi-Nihonbashi 3-chome for the purpose of business expansion.
Aug. 2013 The company was relocated to Shinkawa 1-chome.
Jun. 2014 Started importing, distributing and selling foreign movies and TV shows.
